Libraries | The closest library is in Keyworth but residents also regularly use East Leake, West Bridgford & Ruddington libraries amongst others. Find a Nottinghamshire library.  

Local Authorities | Although Willoughby has a Leicestershire postcode we are in fact part of Nottinghamshire & come under the care of Rushcliffe Borough Council, as does Wysall & Thorpe in the Glebe (north west), Upper Broughton (north east) & Widmerpool (north). Nearby Leicestershire County Council areas include Charnwood BC with Wymeswold (south west) and Melton BC  with Broughton & Dalby (south east). Schools | Willoughby has its own Pre-School Playgroup & Primary School (rated outstanding by Ofsted). Local senior schools include South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form,  Loughborough Endowed Schools, and East Leake Academy.
