This year’s Christmas Fair was a great success, raising £630 for village groups!
Many residents and locals came to support the event; we had a wide range of stalls – some new for this year, plus festive games and refreshments.
The children were excited to meet Santa in his grotto and receive a gift from him!
Villagers enjoyed each other’s company as they drank mulled wine and ate minced pies!
The raffle was popular, with some wonderful prizes including vouchers from 3 local businesses – The Beauty Garden By Gemma in Willoughby, The Crown at Old Dalby and Moore’s Nurseries & Garden Centre in Stanton.
John Brian’s art stall raised about £100 for Nottingham Women’s Centre and the local scouts fundraising for their trips abroad in 2023 raised over £200 between them.
Thank you to everyone who came and to all those who helped by donating raffle prizes and cakes, or by helping on the day.
